Those Summer Nights
Don't you just want to curl up on this with a good book? If I ever have a backyard with decent trees, I'm totally making one of these. Zak and I think we would use a wood pallet as the base instead of wood from the hardware store.

Earlier this year, before our trip to Disneyland, I searched a searched for a fabulous bonnet pattern to make Storey a hat. I didn't find anything that I really liked and ended up fashioning my own pattern--it turned out a little wonky. Prudent Baby recently posted it...the perfect bonnet tutorial-and it's even reversible! Too bad Storey won't wear a hat anymore.....

Dresser to Storage
Diane turned a drawerless dresser into a great storage area using paint, wood, and plastic crates from the dollar store. Ingenious-and so practical!! If our new house wasn't so small, I'd be scouring thrift shops and roadsides for an old/cheap dresser to use for this project. It's one project that will be going on my list for the future.
